About a 15 minute drive from the town of Oskarshamn in Småland you’ll come across the small village of Dövestad – a beautiful place located right in the middle of tranquillity. And this is where you’ll find Trollskogen’s Cabin Rental! For either shorter or longer periods of stay we offer slightly different accommodations in a personal and cosy style.

Here’s something for everyone to enjoy, young and old alike; alone or in group.
» Do you enjoy hunting?
If so, you’ll find roe deer, elk and wild boar in our woods. In connection with your stay and in accordance with your wishes we can arrange hunting trips.
» Do you own a horse?
As of the spring of 2008 Trollskogen’s Cabin Rental offers so-called BednBox; that is, bring your horse on your vacation and enjoy our countryside and nature from the horseback!
If you have children that would like to give horseback riding a try, we can also offer rides on our sweet ponies. An exciting activity, indeed!

Bring your whole family!
We’ve got accommodations for both big and small groups of people, so bring your whole family to one of our cosy cabins! They each come with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom in addition to a large porch which suits perfect for those warm summer evenings when you’d like to fire up the grill!
The Fox (Räven)
» Our larger cabins, The Fox (Räven) and The Elk (Älgen), have room for 2-6 people. In each of them, you’ll find a big recreation room equipped with a TV, DVD player, radio and family board games – perfect for those rainy days! And what is more, if the weather is not that good the heating stove provides a warm and cosy fire for both body and soul. Above the bedroom there’s a loft which is usually very much appreciated by the slightly older children. The loft comes with two single beds.

The Woodpecker (Hackspetten)
» Our smaller cabin, The Woodpecker (Hackspetten) is perfect for 1-2 people. Inside you’ll find a bedroom with one large bed and a recreation room equipped with a TV and DVD player as well as a comfy sofa bed. Also at your disposal is a small kitchen in which you’ll find everything you need to cook a simple meal. Right next to the kitchen is the fully equipped bathroom.
